Thread: Any ideas how to counter this formation?

    4-5-1 v formation defending and flanking. Choose his weakest side to do so. He is using a version of 3-6-1. I usually play this as a counter formation for the narrow diamond 4-4-2. The clue is to have enough players in the middle but to pass down flanks not in the middle.

    That's what I am trying to do move the ball from the midfield to flanks and I am thinking about 442 as another strategy since I have to win and dont concede a goal cause it's a home match
