I've been having hard time this season to win against 4-1-2-1-2 ND formation. 4-5-1V doesn't seem to work anymore. I play teams that are weaker than mine and sometimes I lose or tie.
Any suggestions?

To me, 4-5-1 V is not a counter for 4-4-2 ND. I always go with 3N-5-2 V. If you have the best team, win is (almost) certain.
Any 'V' formation (4-5-1V, 3N/W-5-2V) needs a rock-solid player as DMC and two high-quality wingers as AML/R. If you haven't got those, then the formation doesn't do as well as it says on the tin. My record this season against ND is about the same as in previous seasons, but the games have been harder and closer, so Nordeus may have tweaked the V formation a bit.
4-5-1V is better played as a defensive formation, using Defensive mentality, or Hard Defensive if opposing team is much better.
3N-5-2V is a bit more offensive, play with Normal Mentality or Attacking if opposition is much poorer.
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...
Interesting comment. I usually do the exact opposite with very good resut (41-1-0): I go attacking with defensive formations (mostly 4-5-1V) and defensive with others.
