The blue and red arrows on the player

What do the red and blue arrows mean..I see that one goes up and one goes down, what's the correct meaning of those arrows :|

The red arrow means that your player attacks more (he will leave his position) the blue one means the player it's more defensive (he will not go in attack), something like that.
