don't use long pass if oppo has many lines (meaning DMs)
in real football, the good long pass for a successful counter attack, is a low height pass.nikolgiorgos why is that? (I mean in real life the point of long passes is to bypass the lines...)
- High balls always give an advantage to the defending player as he can take a good position with his body, without loosing the eye-contact with the ball.
The body and the head of the attacker have a different position as he must look back and high.
- The defender just had to throw away the ball with his head which is in a higher place than the body or the feet of the attacker (he must use those for controlling the long high pass).
So this short (in height) pass, must go through 3 or 4 lines.
It's like throwing a small ball or stone through the holes of 2,3 or 4 fences.
