Hi,

This is my team. 7* but still I am loosing all the important matches even from lower opponents Not sure why.



I face difficulty against 4-1-2-1-2 ND and 4-5-1V specially.

Please can anyone suggest me tactics/formation to use against these 2 formations.

Secondly, I have very tough match coming in 2 days time. The opponent is very strong and normally changes formation. His team is 8*. Please can you suggest me what tactics shall I use against him. We only have 1 point difference in league. He is 1st and I am second.

To play defense/counter I need DMC? Shall I use 4-5-1V?

not neccesarily
you can use it also with that formation too.
Also with 4-4-2 ND or classic.

that's descent rate for a defender or MC but not for a winger. Your AML-AMR-AMC must have 8 avg. and scoring.

vs 4-1-2-1-2 ND usually I play with 3DC-1DMC-3MC-AML-AMR-ST
vs 4-5-1V DL-DC-DR-2DMC-2MC-AML-AMR-ST
Those are my started squads, then during the game, maybe change them.

Just one question, Can we play defensive/counter without any DMC in the team? with formation 4-3-2-1 or 4-2-3-1?

With formation 4-2-2-2, Should it be down both flanks or mixed?

little bit more analysis to that.
Making a counter formation isn't something "magic".
You 're trying to find some weakness and just put in some place more powers than another.
of course that can gives you a disadvantage too.
So, if you don't have a DMC (only the 4 def.) and have 3 MC, this will give you more "control" of the match.
If you put also a AMC to AMR & AML, this will give you more chances to score.
But, if oppo also playing with counters and long pass, this can be dangerous as you 'll not have a between (def. and midf. area) line.
So I prefer to use a DMC unless oppo is too week or I 'm desperate to win/score .

Please can you suggest me what formation should I use against very strong 4-2(DMC)-1MC-2(W, AML/AMR)-1ST

If I want to use 3W-2(DMC)-2N-2W-1 then what order/arrows I should use?

His team is far better than me. It's my cup final against him
