Counter 3N-2N(MC)-3W-2

Hi,

I lost my cup first leg against 3N-2N(MC)-3W-2

My team is slightly better but still I was unable to win. I played with 4-3N-2W-1.

I am down 2-1

Next match is away. Any suggestions what formation/orders I should play.

The only position I cannot play is DML/DMR. Other then this my team can play in any position.

You definitely have to play on the wings. 4-5-1V will destroy him.

You still have a challenge. Kill him with 3W-1-3W-2amc-1. Mix passing, down both flanks, normal mentality, yes counter no offside trap, normal pressure n tekel.

Nik, you quite often recommend long passes, which I never use: what is your trigger to go with this ? crowded midfield ? something else ?

I 'm trying to "lure" oppo defenders in my area too.
Then I "cut" oppo attacks and passing a long ball.
Long balls are "passing through" better if oppo has 3 lines - only Ds and Ms and not DMs.
My wingers have higher quality and M&P than opponent and playing 1 vs 1 instead of a crowded defense.
I also create more chances and shots , so by statistics have better chances to score.
I don't like tiki-taka

- sometimes it doesn't work so I check as.manager comments as also % of passing.
If it's lower than 83%, I switch to normal

- oppo also can create counters to your counters

all above in theory but at least in my team it works.

He plays with 4-3N (MC)-1-2

I am thinking to play either 451V or 3N-1-3N-2W-1 or 3N-1-2-3-1

Please suggest
