    Help needed to play vs 4-3N-3 (Stronger opponent)

    What is counter for 4-3N-3? He is stronger than me. Actually he is one level above me atleast 15% stronng. What formation should I use with orders? I facing him in Cup Semi-Final.

    Help needed to play vs 4-3N-3 (Stronger opponent)

    I would never play three defenders against three strikers.
    4-2-0-3w-1. Short passing. Mixed focus. Normal mentality at home, defensive away. If he's got possession switch from AMC to MC and from mixed to both flanks. Counter on, high pressing. If you have enough possession during the game use the condition/attack bonus.

    Let us know how it went

    Madfo's right: 3-1-3-2W-1 is the ultimate counter. 4-3-3 has no chance at all. Never ever got anything but a win with this. Do not forget that with any kind of 4-something tactic, you do not have 4 defenders but only 2. The other 2 do not face central strikers and are useless.

    Sorry,maybe I'm wrong, but don't forget,he said his opponent is quite stronger than him and usually the strongest team has an advantage in possession,0 MC against 3 MC he will lose the midfield and also short passing with no MC's 😞and again,high pressing against stronger opponent with no MC;

    agree
    also I believe it's better to have 3 DC with the help of a DMC with a blue arrow, moving and helping in front of them,
    than two DC and two DL-DR who tend to move in the edge of your area.
    When I 'm not facing wingers or ML-MR (I use the same vs 4-4-2 nd), I prefer to make the center of my defense area more "crowded".

    You've got two dmc's. They are difficult to get through. Our friend has more midfielders in total and that qualifies for short passing (it's not foosball, players move) and if short doesn't work simply switch to long. You shouldn't fight over possession when you know you're gonna lose, you have to outsmart possession. Defend well, surprise with long passes to counter attacks and hope for the best.
