Efficent formation against 4-4-2

Hey, anybody know a efficent formation against 4-4-2 that isn't 4-5-1 v-style or 4-1-2-1-2? I dont think them are working any good for me the last time

They work pretty good for me. 4-1-2-1-2 is actually pretty efficient against that formation. Are your players moral high?? Actually I am playing 4-4-2 in a few minutes, but I am using the butterfly formation (never tried so I am trying it now)

Thats irrelevant, i asked about a formation exept the 2 traditional counterattacks to 4-4-2

The butterfly formation 3N-2W-2N-2W-1 you posted can also be used to counter 4-4-2. Attack both flanks, mixed passing, pressure own half (that is important, I once tried pressure whole pitch in a test and the 4-4-2 destroyed me).
