I rarely see that formation too. I reckon not many know that formation.
But what I wanna know is when is this formation good to use? Which formations can be easily beaten by this formation?

You cant use it if the opponent attacks through the middle, As you have no MC, and you cant use it if he attacks through the flanks, as you dont have DML/DMR/DL/DR. I think it is useless

This formation is the brother of the wide diamond the only difference
It is that it has moved the fourth defensive player to play as a striker
many people try to win against that, play through the middle but is not easy
i play wide diamond a lot when i was in low levels with a great success
