thanks but that thread is out of date
the 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly, as well as the 4-5-1V, is no more effective against 4-2-2-2

moreover, July has recently wrote that this season the engine is maybe changed and many of the counter-formations can be useless

I was just asking an advice to the most experienced managers
as I must score one gol at at least, I would try a 4-2n-3-1 or a 4-3w-2amc-1
