I have a match tomorrow in CL, he plays this butterfly formation. He is weaker than me by few percentages, in yours opinion what is the best way to confront him? How I should set up my them, I usually play 4-4-2 classic or 4-5-1 v. Thanks in advance

Can U talk more detail, is this butterfly 3n-2w-2-2w-1?
Then U can use ND 4-1-2-1-2. Remember butterfly is defend formation, so U set defend too
I don't think so Houzz, defensive tactics with ND never worked for me, but also I am not sure if it works for other managers. If you will go for ND, I suggest normal tactics and classic 4-4-2 or Hexagon could work against butterfly.Quote:

I often use butterfly, many many times. This is very good formation, i think it is the best ever formation in Top eleven. Butterfly can counter so many other formation like: 451v / 432w1 / 423w1 / 4132 / 352 flat / 3w52 flat / 414AM RLC 1 / 442 / 4222hex ...etcQuote:

IMO counter formation is one part (30-40% win), and the other part is YOUR SETTING(60-70% win). These is many orders by many Managers
That why i can choose ND in defend / own half for him, because in this case, he is stronger than oppo.

He changed formation. He played 4 2 2 2 hex I played 4-4-2 classic and it ended 2-2.
Could I use butterfly to counter his hexagone, I have good dml and dmr, how should I set up it cause I need to win, or get 3-3.

3DC - 2DMC - 2ML/MR - 2AML/AMR - 1ST?
How would you counter? Opponent is weaker.
4:5:1 v style both flanks dmc down ml/mr up, aml, amr up... good luck , if his weaker je maybe would play with counter tahts way play normaly fill pitch offside on. Good luck..
