I never saw a tactic like this one before... He was 3 levels ahead of me... Probably there's no much I can do... but still.. any suggestions? I tried going trough the middle with 3 mc's ( 4-1-3-2) but to no avail...
doesn't he get a possession penalty for playing with more than 2 players on the sides??

No possession penalties any more for formations like that. You get a default 20% possession if you put a Goalkeeper in the outfield, that's it.
4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond, attack through the middle.
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...
