I thinking playing like this ( counter and down flanks, red arrows aml/amr , dr/dl ) :

Either go for the same formation as him If you are equal or better ...if not go with 3N-3dml,dmc,dmr-1mc-2aml,amr-ST normal,down flanks,mixed or short passing,tackling upto you..you will win or get a draw at least
