This thread became a trash can. Why everyone is asking wow to beat some formation here? It would have been more useful if people were actually discussing the table of counter formations and making their inputs, not just asking. There's a whole forum for that.

I am playing at a lower level (3) and noticed that a lot of teams that maintain a consistent formation and set of players perform very well as opposed to my attempts at countering formations. Most times my overall starting 11 quality is better than theirs but I usually end up struggling for a win, lose or come from behind to draw.

So is it maybe wise to consistently play the same formation regardless of the opposition's style? Afterall if your MC is much better than the opponent's MC, he should be bossing the midfield.

hi, tigers!
I played as u advised, in the cup qtr final. @my home, mine-32.4 vs his- 24.4.
He used 5-3-1-1, & I refered to yr thread:
3-1-3W-1-2, hard attacking, whole pitch, mixed passes, down both flanks, the red arrows as urs.
But the result is 0-3, he won at my home.
anythg wrong????
