I always saying that vs those formations, must examine DML-DMR
Are they acting usually as defenders or have attacking skills too ?
Do they score ? giving assists ? have high rates ?
if not, you can use also 3DC-1DMC in defense
or 3DC + a 2nd ST

no he has a good dmr with 6 stars but i have a very good amr with 6.5 stars ...
and he has a bad dml with 2 stars

nik, both formations one player's missing :p

Sometimes I really don't understand this game. On my cup round two, I played against a weaker team 3-2-3-2, I use 4-4-2ND away, 0:6 win for me but when I played home countering same way, only 1:0 win :O

for me after so many seasons it's clear
- One reason is that formation/tactics is the no4 factor that affects a result (team quality, luck, presence of the manager are more important)
- The 2nd reason is that luck has a more complicate role

Sometimes luck decides that formation will be a critical factor in a game, some times just ignores it.

6-1 win (home) 6-0 win (away) ive just killed him xD with that formation

I think last season or 2 seasons back someone wrote in forum that away games are better than home games. My clubs are facing same kind of situations. Away games high scores, home game low. I'm searching that thread so I can write down my thought with screenshots too. Even asso games also same situations, last week all my asso team won away games but home games hardly win or lost; same happen this weekend too.

I usually have good (away) games in associations.
Maybe it's because I use defense counters, playing out I have less b.p. and this helps better with my orders.
But who knows, maybe nordeus tweaking the calculations every while so none can figure out a standard pattern.

Nik, what you do if you see dml and dmr not only def they are attacker, do lot of assist, score more than other team players and gain MoM.

Do you use 3dc+1dmc or 3dc+dml/r or 4 at the back

Was hopeless against the title tactic with 3-5-2V or the counter suggested by TrueRespect (but I must say I did not trust this one due the poor lonesome DC against 2S).
I did not see any obvious counter before the game started and remains clueless after...
