Third time I will be playing against this guy and this same formation. Seems to be working for him because I lost both games we played!
I believe I used 451v last time. At this point I'm about to just be petty and copy his formation
Anyone have a good counter for me?

It depends on quality of his players on certain positions. Give us a screenshot of his starting eleven.
3232 or 32221 butterfly will beat him.
Just give red arrow on Amr Aml and St if you use butterfly.
Attack from flank...short or mixed pass.. Hight press.
Also give to your player a win prim.
It will be easy..you will see.

I hadn't looked at his squad and it appears that he hasn't updated his team for the game yet. At least I'm assuming he hasn't since his best players are on the bench. Looks like his startes will be much stronger than mine... COOOL.
I am considering 32221 butterfly or possibly 41212 narrow diamond only because his formation seems similar to 3n52v, at least I think it's sort of similar anyway. Do you think that'd work?
32221 butterfly or 3232 will be â better choice.
You have to protect your flank and at same time attack his flank.
If you go with 41212 ND then give blue arrow to your Dl and Dr.
But really I m not sure about 41212.

First leg I ended up using 451v and actually won 2-1, despite his team being 20%+ higher rates than my own. However the second game he kicked my ass 5-2. He slightly changed his formation to 3n-1dmc-2mc-aml/amr-2st and I used 451v again. Honestly the first game seemed rigged to me, I wasn't even able to "be present" while he was and he had several fans so his possession bonus was quite high. There's no way I should have won haha.
