If he is an active manager i think he will change the formation right after the game.

Well, i am not a great manager actually but his formation are based on 3-5-2 (dont have shape). Five midfield allow him to gain more possession.

If you stick with 4-4-2, maybe wait for the counter. For me i will go with 4-5-1 V and try to score. If fail to score then i will change to 4-2-2-2 Hex.

Hmm, attacking on right flank might help you since he is more attacking on left side.
