4-1-1-1-3 counter formation (URGENT HELP NEEDED!)

Hello Top Eleven Players!

I have an important cup match and I'm going to be playing away, in the first leg I lost 1:2 against him. Now I need to lead by two points to go through. My dream for this season is a Treble. So I need to beat him if not it'll be crushed :c. His formation is a 4-1(DMC)-1(MC)-1(AMC)-3(AMR,AML,ST)

In match preview, I have superior attack by 3.8%, but I lack Defense and Midfield by 3% difference each. Judging from this formation, I believe he does through the middle. I am unsure what to do but I was thinking of dominating the midfield. I'm playing 4-2-3-1 currently. With a 5-man midfield, I thought I could win but I was proven wrong when they scored twice. Any other options I could do that can beat his formation? I think dominating the midfield is my priority so I can have the upper-hand in possession to create more chances but I could be wrong. Tips?
