Thread: how to beat awkward 4-2-3-1 formation

    That is a strange formation.

    My guess would to play 4-4-2 normal mentality, both flanks, own half, normal tackling, long passing, zonal and maybe counter.

    I must warn you, I have never come up against that formation but my goal would be to get the ball up to my 2 strikers as quick as possible, hopefully, getting a few through balls through that great wall of china.

    I agree, 442 is the most solid formation vs your rival
