    u can use
    ---ST--ST---
    ----AMC-----
    --MC--MC---
    ----DMC-----
    DL-DC--DC-DR

red arrow for DL and DR,Blue arrows for MC's,red arrows for AMC,ST's
    normal,through the middle,hard tackle,own half,NO COUNTER ATTACK,NO OFFSIDE,ZONAL...

    OR u can use...

    -----ST-----
    AML-----AMR
    ---MC-MC---
    -----DMC----
    DL-DC-DC-DR

Red arrows on DR and DL..Blue arrows on MC's,red arrows on AML,AMR and ST

    with the same tactics..

Both the formation are very effective against 4-4-2 Classic..but see ur team and see this two formation,,..think which one will pick ur strong and quality players..
    than choose that
    best of luck...

I'm sorry I expressed myself in a wrong way I use the 4-4-2 and I want to know how to put orders to play at the best. Tomorrow I play with an opponent in the cup a little weaker than me and he uses a 5-3W-2. I drew 3-3 at home, I used these orders:

    Team mentality: Normal
    Focus passing: Down both flanks
    Pressing style: Own alf
    Tackling style: Normal
    Passing style:Mixed
    Marking style: Zonal

    Fource counterattacks yes
    Play offside trap no.

Can you tell me if I should change something? I use the red arrows on ML and MR

    thanks a lot!

Short passing for flat formations and so this means no counter attack and no counter.

    That's not considered "flat" though.

Usually when we say flat, it's based on the colour of the position.. So yours would effectively be a variation of 3-5-2, not a 3-5-2 flat but just 3-1-4-2. That's from my understanding anyway
