    Hi dv8r, I often agree with you on most things but do you have any experience/knowledge to support this?

    I play the 4-5-1V with short passing and I always get above 80% passes completed.

    Flat formations are best used with the short passing, I don't understand why but it does work for me. For me, short passing for 4-5-1 v does not work as effectively as mixed passing. A former user, Adel Gamal also said the same thing and justified his reasons for saying it but the thread is gone now so I can't retrieve it.

    I assumed short passing wouldn't work with teams using 4-3-3, 4-5-1 flat, 4-4-2 because there is no link between DC and CM and ST.
