may go with 4-1-4-1 with def, counter, long, attacks on both flanks and red arrow on wingers and fullbacks(take it out if his wingers are exploiting yours )

my team @ http://forum.topeleven.com/team-show...ears-fc-2.html
League : winner (S1, S2, S3, S6, S7) , runner up (S4*, S5*) * was in holiday away
CL: Winner (S4, S7), runner up (S2, S3, S5, S6)
Cup: Winner (S3)
If it's 3 defenders + DML/DMR - sure you did, otherwise it's due to skill difference and luck.
I used that, just to follow strictly everything that you've suggested. The only thing I didn't do is to have a DR - used a DMR instead and put a blue arrow on him as well as on all full-backs.
I still think this isn't the optimal tactic to use, especially with red arrows on ML/MR if I'll be passing through the middle, where I don't have an AMC. Anyway, the match just finished and I won 0:2, so thank you.
Are you sure about that?
And before you go into the skill difference factor - it's 19.0 against 18.8 for the winner respectively. A 0:5 away win isn't a fluke. Don't blindly trust the table of counter-formations, it's isn't 100% accurate. If it was - why didn't you just use 4-4-2 Classic like the table says instead of asking here for help?
Haahhaha firstly, I used this formation against 4-2N-3W(AM)-1 just accidently because i didnt open and change my squad from the previous match. And i was suprised when I looked the result that I win 6-1 against team in second position in my league.
Why did I use through the middle for the Mixed/Flank-based formation? It happened accidently too and somehow it works. .
But for the through the middle-based formation, I always use Mixed and never use through the middle focus. I got better result than I use from middle both attack and defense.
I dunno how the game engine works. I just observe from my every single match and find which is better to use
Btw, congrats dude
Twice I won the hexagon, using 3 4 3 and twice its quality was superior to mine
I always played with very offensive mentality, to beat the hexagon you must attach...if you play in defense his attackers destroy you!!!
Now I want to attack 4 2 3 1, and I'm trying to do the right tactics.
view table with my training and its, if I can not find a module to attack.... play like him 4 2 3 1
I want the problem of how to defend themselves both in his head, not in my
This formation works well against most teams and a lot of teams use it without having an active manager behind them, or at least not one that adapts to opponents tactics. I don't think you'll be able to get into his head like you intend to.
he is an active manager, participates in all matches and is ranked first in the league : Cool:
but I am ranked first in my league and now he certainly read my score 17 0 0 : D
