Also i dont know why your so-called better team didnt play attack instead of counter attack and why u enabled offside trap with this formation

you have 2 St facing 5 .. he has 2 ST facing 4 .. am sure he focused all his attacks in mid and you are screwed
quality wise, can't see big difference
