4- 2MC - 3(AML AMC AMR)- 1 counter
Now I have been reading a lot into this, and as far as I discovered that most of the counter answers or anything in the counter formation thread is close to the idea where you have to close down your defense enough for his attacking roles to cover the areas he is using for attacking, and counter his defense setup
so I guess a 3(w)- 2(DMC) 3(AML AMC AMR) - 2 is valid for this case?

If you play with 2DMC and 3(AML AMC AMR), you will have no MC to feed the ball forward, and the only way to do that is using long passes from your DMC. However, your 2DMC are busy in defending against your opponent's 3(AML AMC AMR), so your DMC would be overloaded in handling both defending and attacking tasks. I think 4-5-1V Style or 4-1-4-1 would be better in countering 4-2-3W-1.

Pro
3 4 3 (or 3 4 1 2 whit red arrows to AMC)
very offensive mentality, pressure across the board, short passes & mixed

3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly

Apparently 4-4-2 classic is the proper formation to counter. most likely motivated wings
But I like 4-1-3-2 or 3-2W-3N-2 or 3-2W-3N-1-1

Short passing, up the middle, zonal, no counter, no offsides, normal tackle, attacking.
