Have not seen this formation before: 4-2N-2W-0-2

Is like a more defensive hexagon.

I was thinking of the 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly as this would create a battle on the wings.

My 3 DC should counter his 2 ST.
My DML/DMR should counter his ML/MR with red arrows with help from my 2 MCs.
My 2 MCs should have the run of the midfield and with 6 total midfielders for me, I should dominate possession.
Set long ball on the flanks and hope I get some crosses in: he has no Defense with SA, which is good.

OR

Do I go with 3-5-2 flat with motivated wingers?

I don't think that he would be attacking through the middle and you'll need to get a lot of attacking power here, so I'd try adding another striker at the expense of an MC.

... with red on the AMs and blue on DMs and all three DCs (as you'll be pushing and he'll be hoping on counter-attacks, so you need your full-backs to stay on guard). You could use ML and MR if you're concerned about possession, but I think you'll rule it anyway.

He'll definitely try to attack with wingers. Does he have good full backs?
I like the idea of 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly. I would motivate DMLs/DMRs with red arrows too, in order to put some width to your team and to create situations where you will outnumber him. That way, they'll defend against his MR/ML and they'll move forward when you attack.
