Help against 4-3N-1-2. Need help
I'm playing against a team with an average of 4 points more
I'm playing the semi final of the champions league and I managed to make a 0-0 draw in their home
Now I'm playing the second game at my home and I want to know what formation is the best against this ?
Should I play defensive and counter attacks like in my first game ?
I added a pic of my opponent team
Pls give me any advice
Also should i play down flanks ? counter attacks ? short, long or mixed passing ? pressure whole pitch or half ?
Hard tackling ? Defensive ?

ok look mate
first of all I gotta tell you, 0-0 at his home is not a good result
so if he by any chance could score on your home this will not be good
so what you need exactly is to counter his attack as hard as you can
of course you are not playing with defensive tactics, you need to SCORE
this means you're playing with attacking mentality for a starter
if I were you I'd use 4-1-4-1, why ?
first of all you need 2 DC's -blue arrows- countering his ST's , and your DL & DR will join the attack -red arrows- as there is a lot of space there on the wings.
the 5 in the midfield .. the 1 DMC will stop his AMC and help DC's -blue arrow- , the 2 MC's will play a defensive role also -blue arrows-, so use MC's with good defense and speed, those will be enough to stop his 3 MC's and the AMC.
the ML and MR will join the attack -red arrows- with the DL & DR, and this will be enough for you to make you will score goals, and of course use your 1 best ST.
like i said attacking mentality, your own half, counter attack, mixed passing, no offside , zonal defense.
the point is he will try to attack you, but there will be no space, so you can then start your counterattacks on his wings and this shall make you win.
just a piece of advice .. NEVER remove the DMC, because this will be your key player in the defense.. good luck my friend
