Counter formation help

Hi
I will be facing a 4% stronger opponent in cup next.
He plays 3w-1dmc-3w-2w-1
He has strong wingers
What formation should bi go with and what orders
4-1-2-1-2 nd or 4-3-1-2
Through middle??
Mtm? Counters? Defensive or normal? Offside?

I would play flat 4-4-2. Back arrows on dl/r and ml/r. Defensive, counters through the middle, no offside.

More offensive option 4-3W-2AMC-1 christmas tree but you need 2 amc. Normal, no counters, short pass. Same back arrows, forward arrow on one amc.

Even more offensive 3w-4-3n. Always back arrows as before, plus back arrow on lone DC, forward arrow on one mc. Attacking, high press, through the middle, mixed, offside on.

If you don't like the idea of playing with dl/r and ml/r and are heading towards a variant of narrow diamond, I suggest 5-2-1-2 hard defending. Then the 3DC can help fullbacks. with the oppo's wingers and ml/r. Of course back arrows on fullbacks are mandatory. But my impression is that it won't work, my second team is using 4-1-2-1-2 in all matches and almost always loses to formations with 3 players on each side.
