I face an Ultra Attack minded team. He plays with 4-2-2-2 With Back 4, 2MC, 2AMR/AML and 2 ST and is also capable of Switching to 4-4-2 Classic without any substitutions, given his wide players are versatile. Both his AML ane AMR are in the top 5 CL Goal scorers.
How do I counter this formation, opponent is 10% Stronger
4-1-3-1-1, with DMC, central MC, AMC & ST all pulled back to the most backward region to help defending space behind. Only up-arrow AMC. Defensive, counter on, middle.
If ST is not the top attacker, then may well play an extra defender to be a typical 5-1-3-AMC.
Ideally, 1 of your 3 midfielders also have either ML or MR, so could switch to a 4-man midfield with 1 sub in case you may need to sub DMC out for a ML/R on when necessary.
Winning is a form of art. Consistently winning is a show-hand of skills and luck.
