I agree with you! 3-1-4-2 is the formation that works for me aswell against 4-1-2-1-2 ND. Using normal mentality, both flanks, red arrows on ML and MR. mixed or short passing, normal tackling, zonal and no counter or offside trap.

Absolute tripe of a formation lost 3 1 to a weaker team I had full energy full morale and in the previous meeting I won 1 0 using the 451v now I'm two places off 1st place

i dont think that tactic works with others but hey thanks for the tip...

counter formations do the trick sometimes but actually its easy to read opponents formation... shud see your opponent's player stats/ablity...how many assist...scores??? ... then comes the formation...i would suggest if you are playing a 'narrow diamond' 4 1 4 1, 4 3n 2aml/amr/ 1.... the ND lack of flanks...if your opponent stat are higher red arrow on ml mr or aml amr ...also add red arrow on dr dl... if your opponent player mc is a killer stat in scoring (see their stat) blue on 2 dc's ... i always knock them out with 4 5 1 flat mc (middle blue arrow) ...

orders hard attacking, mix pass, down the flanks, own half, zonal , force counter.... but hey remember they have these so called RNG lol...no matter how good you are you will have 'bad day' achievement he he he

It is now 9-6-2015, and for 1 year I have tried numerous formations against 4-1-2-1-2 ND, including 4-1-3w-2, 4-4-2, 3n-1-3n-1-2, and 4-5-1 V. None have worked consistently.

    Then I read this 5-13-2013 thread: http://forum.topeleven.com/formation...w-diamond.html

I tried Der Panzer's 4-1DMC-3n-2 formation (Normal, mixed, mixed, off; Low, normal, zonal, off; Down arrows 2DCs) against an opponent slightly better than me (he 131.5, me 130.5), and I lost 0:3.

Then I tried crystnel's 3n-1-4-2 formation (Normal, DBF, short, off; Low, normal, zonal, off; Up arrows ML/MR), and I scored 3:0 in the first 24 minutes! I won with a final score of 4:2. AMAZING!

TRY CRYSTYNEL'S FORMATION 3N-1-4-2 AGAINST 4-1-2-1-2 ND! IT WORKS WONDERS!
