Best way to beat 4-4-2 and 4-5-1

I'm playing againt 4-4-2 tommorow league, whats the best formation to beat this
And most importantly after that match I have my knockout round againt 4-5-1,

help, any ideas?

4-5-1v works against 4-4-2 for me. 4-3-3 works against 4-5-1v quite well.

I never lost against 4 4 2 with 451v, normal ment, mixed pass, own half, mixed, zonal, force counter no off. I put red on am's and st.

What kind of 4-5-1? flat? or v-style?

If you mean flat, i'd go 3-5-2 (3dc, 5midfielder, 2st)
and if you mean v-style, i'd go 4-3-2-1 (4defender, 3mc, aml/amr, st)

4-4-2 Classic? Try using 4-3W-3 or 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond, for 4-5-1 flat, use 4-3-1-2, mixed passing, do not watch live match.

4-5-1v works against 4-4-2 for me. 4-3-3 works against 4-5-1v quite well.

Against 4-4-2 I agree.But I disagree about 4-3-3.I defeated much stronger opponents who are using 4-3-3 and I was with 4-5-1 V style.
