4-1-2-3 (No DMC).......5 players attacking. Is that illegal?

Tomorrow i play for the champions L. My opponent he plays the last 10 games with 4-1-2-3 without DMC and 5-6 players attacking. He didnt lost a game in last 10 match
Is that a way to beat it ?
Im thinking to play 4-1-4-1 with out AMC .....and red arrows to DR DL MR ML .
What u suggested?

Finaly he turned to 4-5-1v and i start the game with 4-3-2w-1. The ball possesion was 60-40 for me but he put 2 goals in first half. Second half i play with 4-1-4-1 and the game ends 2-2 ( i put 2 goals in 2nd half).
So the best solution for 4-5-1v is 4-1-4-1 ?

I'm not too sure that 4-5-1 v style can beat 4-1-4-1. Sometimes its doesn't work for me. Check dis pic ..

Yes that i said my friend after i turn to 4-1-4-1 i score 2 goals against 0 .
So for the 4-5-1 v must always play 4-1-4-1 ?
