Weird match statistics?

Hi everyone,

I sometimes find out that I cant understand the mechanism of match statistics. For example, when the match report say that my ST has just shot toward the opponent's goal, but the statistics shows that the opponent has one more in his total shots and my shots remain the same And the most ridiculous is that the number of total shot is less than the number of shots on target. As you can see in the attached screen capture, the winning side has total 10 shots, but where does he get 11 shots on target. Can any one explain this?

Match stats are never accurate, I wouldn't look too much into it.

Uhm, so in live match, where do you look at for the purpose of changing tactics or substituting players?

Look at the comments, they give a pretty good indication of who is playing well and who isn't/

Yeah it's sometimes weird.

"The ball rolls out by [my player]"
"And [opponent player] scores!!!!"

It's a goal via a deflection. Very common in football
