So, does 3N-5-2 really work against 4-1-3N-2? If it really does, may i know the team order that you used? I face a team with that formation too tonight, and I'm normally using 4-5-1V.. And my rating is slightly higher than his. His rating is 25.3 and mine is 27.4.

3N-5-2v is a better counter formation.

Why use DL/DR when he has no attacking flank players? Best to set up 3 in central defence and have an extra striker.
Should i use a DMC? Or 3 MCs?

    Thank you for your help.

today i played with 4-5-1v style against a 4-3n-1-2 and won 3-0 so yes it can beat 4-3n-1-2 formation. use attacking mentality, down both flanks, normal tackling, zonal marking, mixed passing, own half pressing and no counter or offside trap.
