   Well I opted to play my in form keeper. I played highly offensive (away leg of the cup, needed to win by atleast and score 2 goals) and left him with only 3 defenders. Won the game against the higher...

   I play all my in form players (obviously it can vary from match to match) and ive had a string of good results from doing so :)... The game engine has to surely take form into consideration...

   I have the exact same problem as you, except with my keepers.. second leg of the cup against a better team, one of my keepers has had crappy form, the other one decent form, but is slightly less...

   choose the best forme for important matches, improve your scot with friendly match, lol. if your team usually played low quality team and he is the best player in pitch, so play him in important match
