In India server reset takes place at 7.00 AM...Since it will be the day 1 of the new season it takes some what 1 hour more for maintenance... So on day 1 you can log into the game at 8.00 AM...

Old players don't perform worse then young ones. They just train less fast. The difference in performance nevertheless between young and old might be explained by their development during the season....
