should be more specific what i meant is oppo player weakness nt formation.
etc: here is my cl match i played today oppo play 4231 formation.
on paper its easy to find counter for that formation....

You have a point. Although a counter formation does somewhat means exploiting your oppo weaknesses.

Same tactics at home went 2-0 up then changed to 451v defence, long, counter .
again won 2-0 at home so 4-0 on aggregate against stronger team.
