If you want your teams to be on the same server then firstly become friend...

The number of days it takes to produce the youths depends on the Youth facility level.
Max level is 10 and 2 youths are produced every 12 days.
When you click on it it tells you the number of days...

Iirc, Academy players on Day 1 are 19 yo and 1* less - probably because they generate before the day starts. ;) So Day 2 is better. :D

Here's an 18T Academy player on my 3rd team that is in his 4th season. No extra love given just games and regular training.
He's been a good player and good trainer.
