It seems I'm not the only one in this situation. I know some players use a lot of 1 stars in reserves and subs to keep the quality down but I like to rotate, rest and alter tactics.

Dont mean to come off rude but this is not the "best tactic". I can guarantee you that if another manager changes his tactics to the 1 you use, they will loose. You found players and built them...

Reminds me of that time when I lost the CL final (1-3) to a team playing with 9 men. I had 1-0 lead when they went down to 10 men. Down 1-2, when opponent was reduced to 9.
