I kind of profit as well because some of my opponents don't get new players so easily. As I train all my players myself, I didn't use negotiations a lot for buying, maybe only for 1 or 2 bench...

Yes just disable the animations and you will have oldschool text. I also like it because I can always check the ratings of my players.

They are like 129.1 M, 129.2 M and so on. But the decimal goes up by 1 every 2 to 3 levels... So you can kind of sort by value on the transfer list to get an idea, but yes you need to buy the player...

Just lower your quality at the end of the season to get in a weaker league of that level or tank once to get rid of him...
