All it means is the team listed as "Favorite" seems more likely to win by the numbers, what determines it I think is quality mostly but I wouldn't say previous form and training have nothing to do...

I wouldn't say it is player quallity, but rather rating or, even better competitiveness. Stars show how competitive player is at your level. In top eleven player can't lose quallity, only improve it,...
