No players and no preset formation means he has not renewed the contracts of the players, so it won't show in the team preview. You should never have gone over 10Ts when bidding... there are crazy...

It doesn't mean that they are not playing. Just means that they have players out of contract that they have not signed for the new season. So it won't show in the team summary screen. I am quite sure...
