I play with the same formation and don't change ever ! I tried a couple of formations a few seasons ago and lost 3 out of 4 games so gave up with that, keeping the same formation works for me !!

I usually just stick with quite a balanced/simple formation 4-4-2 or 4-3-2-1. Seems to do me quite well.
