Probably part of the scam. They need players to watch the game and don't have enough players to make up the leagues, so they need to make some auto-lose at times in order to keep the managers...

As you play the game for free (with 100-120 free tokens and +1000 green packs per season) it's ok.
It's not worthy to spend money to improve your team as those results are happening often and can...

yes, when they added the top 5 list of the CL/SL/Cup there was a bug in the rates from the beginning.
This affected the old rates of the League too.
It's in the list of permanent bugs.
