yeah i agree with that. Attacking from flanks always gives more scoring options. I used this 4-5-1V formation last season and scored more than 100 goals in league. It's a good formation.

Having a DMC is a good way to block opponent's AMCs.
will this Formation work:
----ST---ST----
ML---MC---MR
-----DMC-----
DL-DC--DC-DR

At least you should have 3 defenders. Otherwise you will only get 20% ball possession.
