players that announce retiring!

I have I player (age 33) that is retiring at the end of the season, but I like him so,maybe if there is an option that with it we can offer for example a higher wage for the same player to stop him form taking that decision and sign a new contract for another year or more!!

Any one likes this ?

You will get an other player for him at the start of new season but old one same quality I think.

If a player wants to retire, he obviously doesn't want to play anymore so why would you wanna hold someone in your team when they don't want to be there?

Because why you should sack him? If you will do that you will lose moneys. Just let him there, and they don't want to play anymore because they are old....
