In Match Text Commentary

(Wow ... I can't spell .... oops) >fixed<

I'm noticing that the text during the matches tends to be a little on the repetitive side, and I'm thinking wouldn't it be nice to see some different phrases appear.

So ... my suggestion ...

We have a thread on here where people can suggest new game text and phrases. At the end of each week the suggestion with the most "likes" gets added to the game.

So win / win, the game gets more match text and players have a chance to see their own lines in game ..... yay ))))

I love this idea, I agree the commentary needs more variety!

I am just not creative in writing, but many on here are, I bet we could get a good list.

wouldnt it be awesome if 5 minutes before the match starts, we could go to the stadium and listen to some commentator banters? like what i dont like is 3 minutes before kick off, all you can do is mope and moan about not making enough changes/give out candies, so why not visit the stadium while listening to some good old banter. ive also never seen supporters mentioned once so it should have some sort of an impact in the game. id love to just go to the stadium, and hit on rival supporters with my aluminium bat
also, who wouldnt love seeing rivalries programmed into the game. it could be based on points, locations, and head to head matches

There could be match commentary for own goals. For example;

- Player A skips past Opponent A, is now one on one with the goalkeeper, chips the ball over the goalkeeper and Opponent A quickly runs to clear the ball. Oh dear!! It's an own goal!! Opponent A tried to clear the ball out of danger and the ball hits the post/crossbar and it goes in!! Own goal scored by Opponent A.

- It's a corner! Player A crosses in...Opponent A attempts to clear the ball, but oh no!! It's a goal!! The ball ends up at the back of the net with a deflection from Opponent A.

- Player A shoots from 20 meters out, the ball has been deflected from Opponent A and past the keeper. Goal!! There was nothing the keeper could do!!

yep, id love own goals to be brought in. it makes keeping an eye on your players a lot more importantt. like lets say a player with terrible morale and fitness = nigh good chance to do a derp, or the act of doing a derp

and some terrible plays would be awesome as well. like for those with terrible morale might bite other players, or streak across the field. every game should follow an unwritten code of honor that adds streakers

I will want something to be there all the time in commentary. When there is no commentary, there is that bar which goes from one teams side to another's. I will like some commentary all the time, like which player has the ball, to whom he passes, then to whom that player passes, and then who from the other team takes the ball, then whom does he pass to.....
Like in real matches. For example from a Barca-Madrid match(Barca has ball 70% of the time:))-
The commentators are usually like- " Xavi... to Iniesta, back to Xavi, Ramos closes in, Iniesta passes back to Busquets, Busquets to sanchez.. blah, blah blah" And then the normal one " Counter attack break bu Barca, Sanchez provides long ball forward to Messi... Messi running past defenders and he shoots.." Then if goal happens or not the commentary will be according to that. And also something like, " Adriano tries to pass to Messi, Pepe intercepts it and clears it, and Benzema gets the ball"
If u have understood this properly. i think u should like it as it is boring to see that possession bar dancing around from here to there and then suddenly one commentary like XX shoots from a distance, GOAL!!!!:D

And can we include DIVING into the game to make it closer to reality.
Like again Barca Madrid,
" Ronaldo running with the ball, Alba tries to take the ball and Ronaldo falls!!!!! There was no contact between Alba and Ronaldo, that is a clear Dive!!!" And then it will be 50-50% chances whether the refree will go in favour of Ronaldo and give a FK or will he agree that it is a dive and give a yellow card to Ronaldo......
And same then from Barca's side as well... and u know who will dive:rolleyes:.... "And Busquets falls!!!!!":D

And there can be other show of frustration on refree decisions and players performance-

Like if refree sends off ur best defender, it can be like" And Barca supporters are furious over Puyol being sent off!!! They are booing the ref!!!"
And if ur ST misses a one on one chance, "And Jokic misses it, he puts it wide!!! And the manager isn't happy!!! He can't believe it!! It was such a good chance!!! He is shouting at Jokic, asking him what was he doing!!!!!"

i did, tricksies to pass other players, since there are so many tricks i just said that to generalize them all

id seriously love to see this in at least 1 game
PLAYER trips on shoelace as he is about to be subbed on, demands a penalty, ref dumbfounded and brandishes a YELLOW CARD. OH NOES, he dropped dead, he cannot continue, he has been stretchered off, MEANING HE IS NOT ON THE FIELD ANYMORE. trollinho snickering in the distance. club doctor states he cannot play for 15 days due to 'chipped fingernail' and 'bruised ego'

They should play the fans singin ,like on fifa and increase the levels when the game gets exciting,it would be so easy to do ,just get recordings like EA Sports do for there games,also the commentary is pooh ,no double saves ,no goalline clearances ,no offsides,no dribbles,no decent goalmouth action,why can,t we make the games longer with more detailed stats and pundits reflecting post match,surely it wouldn,t be too difficult,Happy new year everyone. (;
