In Match Text Commentary

I'm noticing that the text during the matches tends to be a little on the repetitive side, and I'm thinking wouldn't it be nice to see some different phrases appear.

So ... my suggestion ...

We have a thread on here where people can suggest new game text and phrases. At the end of each week the suggestion with the most "likes" gets added to the game.

So win / win, the game gets more match text and players have a chance to see their own lines in game ..... yay ))))

I love this idea, I agree the commentary needs more variety!

I am just not creative in writing, but many on here are, I bet we could get a good list.

wouldnt it be awesome if 5 minutes before the match starts, we could go to the stadium and listen to some commentator banters? like what i dont like is 3 minutes before kick off, all you can do is mope and moan about not making enough changes/give out candies, so why not visit the stadium while listening to some good old banter. ive also never seen supporters mentioned once so it should have some sort of an impact in the game. id love to just go to the stadium, and hit on rival supporters with my aluminium bat
also, who wouldnt love seeing rivalries programmed into the game. it could be based on points, locations, and head to head matches

There could be match commentary for own goals. For example;

- Player A skips past Opponent A, is now one on one with the goalkeeper, chips the ball over the goalkeeper and Opponent A quickly runs to clear the ball. Oh dear!! It's an own goal!! Opponent A tried to clear the ball out of danger and the ball hits the post/crossbar and it goes in!! Own goal scored by Opponent A.

- It's a corner! Player A crosses in...Opponent A attempts to clear the ball, but oh no!! It's a goal!! The ball ends up at the back of the net with a deflection from Opponent A.

- Player A shoots from 20 meters out, the ball has been deflected from Opponent A and past the keeper. Goal!! There was nothing the keeper could do!!
