I agree, the option to loan a player for a season would be a great tactical addition to the game. It would help newer players or those struggling with injury and would give the owning club a break from their wages.

More importantly though, it would add to the social side of the game that you used to get in Football Manager Live. Scouting and negotiating deals with real-life players was one of the best parts of that game. Yes, there is Facebook integration but as a newbie, it feels like the social element with other players of the game (that are not your friends) is lacking a little.
