penaltys

Deberia to there be an option mas next to training party to train penaltys

Shooting and Finishing skills are what I think you need for good penalty takers, if you don't have a guy with that Special Ability.

Dont even need a training for It and Speciall ability in penalty is a huge waste, as everyone can shoot, score n miss a penalty, its luck, don't look for a guy with sa. Same for goalie as penalty specialist, i lost my cl quarters in penalty, my goalie is penalty stoper, and did not save a single penalty during the shootout, and u wont have that much penalty anyway a season, everyone can shot...

That why I said if he happens to have a guy with the SA... I do have one player with it who was really good at penalties in his prime, so I can't say it's a totally useless SA, but I might not train it on someone, but you can get lucky and buy a guy with it already.

Totally agree, im just fed up if a so called specialist can't even save a single shot from a non specialist i started to doubt the ability is useful, and yea the penalties i shot in one season i can count on one hand, and u see if the goalie with ability is useless u might not need a shoter with sa. But if u have a corner o free kick with sa then u should use him for penalty i think...

I have been curious where I should slot my "Penalty Specialist" players. I always sort by the "shooting" attacking category, but when I start one with the special ability where should I slot them?

Let's say I have players with these values in shooting (* is a specialty):

1. 45
2. 44
3. 43
4. 42
5. 41
6. 40
7. 39
8. 38*
9. 37
10. 36

Where should I slot the 38*? I'm guessing the specialty adds about 5 points (lol!)?

If we believe that SA adds 1* when the conditions kick in, he should be 2nd behind that 45Q guy.

HHmm, not entirely sure you read my post quite right, but thanks! lol. It's never been really important, and neither of my two penalty specialists are regular starting 11 players anyway.
