    New Roles/Special Abilites

I reckon it'd be cool to be able to change what Special Ability that your player is learning. Just because I have a couple of players learning Abilities that they don't actually need. So, like say you had a Defender learning Free Kick Specialist, but you wanted them to learn Defensive Wall, I reckon you should be able to. But there should be a penalty. Maybe let you keep the amount of Skill Points you've already invested but take away 10% of the Overall Amount needed, so 4-5 Skill Points and let them train a new Special Ability. I also think you should be able to stop a player from learning a new position too. Like if you had no-one for say DMC, so you train you DMR Player, but then end up buying a DMC Player on the Transfer Market. I reckon you should be able to stop training that Role, take a 10% Skill Point Penalty, and then redistribute the Skill Points you invested in the Role, into their Skills or something.

What do people think, Is this doable or not? Feel free to add your own suggestions or refine this idea so it would be better or sound clearer.

    Choose more carefully.

I generally wait to see how many points they can accrue before I start training a new Ability or Role, and only those who gain maximum in training get points assigned outside of attributes.

Too I think when there are so many things people want fixed, changing something that isn't broken seems lower priority, not that's it's a bad idea.. I wish they'd change the Roles so you could program wingers without Center role...
Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

I used to pick an Ability for my Players to use, based on their current stats. So, those who had a high Defending Skill I'd give Defensive Wall to, those with good Finishing, I'd give Free Kick Specialist to, and so on. But after noticing their stats didn't distribute the way I wanted, I realised that I should wait and see how their Points are distributed. I do that now, but I've got a couple of players who I wish I gave another Ability to train, over the one I've given them.

Dude, this has nothing to do with them fixing any mistakes I've made. This is about having the option to change things if you want them to be different. No need to be a !@#k about it.

Si potrebbe creare anche il prestito di un giocatore ad un'altra squadra, con diritto di riscatto pagato in tokens. Se non si vuole riscattarlo, il giocatore torna alla squadra di provenienza. Sarebbe una idea fantastica!
You could also create the loan a player to another team, with the right of redemption paid in tokens. If you do not want to redeem it, the player returns to former club. It would be a fantastic idea!

That's a good idea. It's be a good way to boost your Token Stockpile too, but make it a maximum of 10. Let's be honest, if it was any higher, you may as well go to your Scout and get a good player. I reckon the Tokens required to sign a Scout Player should be no more than 15. 50 is just WAY too much.

I think that you should be able to use either cash or tokens to enhance a players ability or give him a new skill or role.

I think each team should have a points bank, where all the points per game are saved the Manager then can assign the points when he wants to develop skills and abilities as he sees fit, to focus on individuals or to spread throughout the team, this puts the Manager in charge which is supposed to be the point of the game.
